Onboarding Process

Welcome to GIVING BACK, a Swiss-based organization dedicated to identifying, vetting, and funding projects that create meaningful social and environmental impacts. We believe that by supporting innovative and sustainable initiatives, we can contribute to a better world for all.

This document outlines our onboarding process for project submissions, providing a step-by-step guide to help you navigate through the application and evaluation stages. Whether your project focuses on environmental conservation, health and well-being, education, social support, or scientific advancement, we are here to support your vision and help bring it to life.

Please take the time to review each section carefully, as it contains essential information about how to present your project effectively. Our goal is to ensure that your application aligns with our mission and has the best chance of success.

We look forward to learning more about your project and
working together to make a positive difference.

Here are some of the information you will need to provide our selection committee, you can also download our Onboarding Guide as a PDF.

1. Project Submission

The process begins with a structured submission through our platform. Applicants provide essential information about their initiative, including objectives, funding needs, deployment geography, timeline, and key performance indicators.

We require clarity on how funds will be used, how impact will be measured, and who is responsible for execution. This first step ensures that projects are presented in a way that allows supporters to understand both purpose and practicality.

Incomplete or unclear submissions are returned for refinement before entering review.

2. Initial Review

Once submitted, the project undergoes a preliminary evaluation by our onboarding team. This review assesses feasibility, ethical alignment, governance structure, and funding transparency.

We evaluate whether the project demonstrates realistic budgeting, defined milestones, and measurable outcomes. We also verify that the leadership and organizational structure are clearly identified.

Giving Back does not endorse speculative ventures, unclear financial schemes, or initiatives that lack defined social or environmental benefit.

3. Governance Assessment

Approved submissions move into governance review. At this stage, we confirm that the project’s financial flow structure can be documented and audited.

We assess how funds will be held, released, and tracked. Where necessary, escrow or staged disbursement mechanisms are implemented to ensure funds are released according to predefined milestones.

This stage protects both project leaders and supporters by creating structured accountability.

4. Platform Approval & Publication

Once governance requirements are met, the project is formally approved and published on the Giving Back platform.

Each project profile presents clear information: funding target, timeline, milestones, geographic focus, impact objectives, and financial allocation structure.

From this point forward, supporters may contribute using traditional payment methods such as wire transfer or card payments, or optionally through the $GBK participation marker system.

5. Funding & Transparent Allocation

All contributions are recorded within our transparency infrastructure. Transactions are traceable and auditable, ensuring that supporters can verify how funds move from contribution to allocation.

Funds may be released in stages, aligned with defined milestones. Project leaders are required to provide updates tied to measurable progress.

Supporters receive documentation of their participation and funding confirmations, reinforcing trust and accountability throughout the lifecycle of the project.

6. Ongoing Reporting & Impact Verification

Approved projects are not left unattended after funding begins. Regular reporting is required to demonstrate milestone completion and responsible use of resources.

Updates are reflected on the platform, allowing the community to monitor progress.

Where appropriate, governance participation mechanisms may allow contributors to remain engaged in the evolution of the initiative.

Financial Structure & Fees

Giving Back operates as a Swiss-based initiative with a commitment to neutrality and transparency.

We apply a 3% operational fee on funds raised through the platform. This fee supports infrastructure maintenance, compliance management, transparency systems, and project review processes.

There are no hidden token economics, speculative instruments, or financial engineering layers attached to contributions.

The $GBK token, where used, functions solely as a non-monetary record of participation. It carries no financial value, does not represent equity, and does not provide profit rights.

Our Responsibility

We are not a marketing platform. We are not an investment marketplace. We are not a speculative crypto ecosystem.

Giving Back is structured infrastructure designed to restore trust in how meaningful projects access funding.

Our responsibility is to ensure that projects are credible, that funds are traceable, and that supporters can participate with confidence.

PROJECT KPI

To help us evaluate your proposal effectively, there’s something crucial we need from you: clear KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). And don’t worry, we’ll explain exactly what that means and why it’s important.

What Are KPIs and Why Do They Matter?

KPIs are measurable goals that show how your project will achieve its intended impact. Think of them as a way to track your progress and prove that what you’re doing is working. For example:

• If your project is about planting trees, a KPI might be the number of trees planted.

• If it’s about improving education, a KPI could be the number of students who gain access to your program.

Why Do We Need KPIs in Simple Terms?

Here at Giving Back, we want to ensure that every dollar we fund is making a real difference. KPIs help us understand:

1. Your Project’s Impact: What exactly will your project achieve?

2. Your Goals: How will you measure success?

3. Accountability: How can we confirm that the funding was used effectively?

KPIs also help us tell your story better. When we share the success of your project, having numbers or milestones makes it more tangible and inspiring.
